Emergency Order Tells Boulder County Residents to Stay Inside, Due to the Rapid Spread of COVID-19

This means that all businesses, except for essential businesses, are required to halt all activities excluding “Minimum Basic Operations”.
The gathering of people within a single household outdoors is not prohibited in the order, but the gathering of people not in a single household outdoors is.
“All travel, including, but not limited to, travel on scooter, motorcycle, automobile, or public transit, except Essential Travel and Essential Activities […] is prohibited,” said the order.
The exceptions consist of activities essential to “individual health and safety”, getting necessary supplies, executing essential work, attending to a family member or pet in another residence and outdoor activities such as walking, biking or hiking provided that social distancing requirements are followed.
